The group’s fan signing events have sparked anger.
aespa‘s recent fan signing events have come under fire, as fans express growing frustration over the significantly shortened duration and what many view as a lack of consideration.

According to a viral post on Pann with over 26,000 views, the most recent fansign event lasted less than an hour, including the final photo time.

Fans who had invested significant amounts of money to attend were reportedly rushed through their time with the members, with some claiming that staff even interrupted conversations while aespa members were still speaking.

The fan also noted that despite spending more money to qualify for these events, the experience is becoming more limited. Only a few fan-prepared items were allowed, and even those were taken away mid-event. Props and accessories given to the members were reportedly removed and packed away before fans had a chance to fully enjoy the moment.

They were rushing people through in less than a minute, even yelling at them to move on quickly. What’s worse is that they were cutting the fans off mid-conversation, even while the Aespa members were still talking. It was ridiculous.
The amount of money people spend to attend keeps increasing, but the time fans get keeps shrinking. Now, the event doesn’t even last an hour, and they just allow three small fansign items before wrapping it up.
The members were still wearing or holding fansign props, and they just told them to stop and stuffed everything in boxes to clear it away. SM is seriously trash for this.
From start to finish, including the photo time at the end, the whole thing lasted exactly 57 minutes. Do they even realize how much money we’re spending?
And then they had the nerve to squeeze in two fansign events today.

While some fans blame SM Entertainment for the mismanagement, others have questioned why fans continue to support such events despite the issues. One controversial comment even claimed the company shouldn’t be blamed rather the idols themselves.

- “At the [NCT] Wish fansign, a female manager even slapped a fan’s hand away. And you’re telling me this isn’t a company issue?”
- “How long are we going to keep blaming the company for everything?”
- “Honestly, the bigger problem is the fans who keep supporting them even when they do this.”
- “If the people spending the money don’t have a problem, then who cares? LOL. Why would SM care about people whining from their rooms, timing aespa fansigns like it’s a job?”
- “If you’re unhappy, complain directly to the company. You keep throwing money at them and then just mumble complaints.”
- “The company plays the bad guy while the idols just sit back and relax. Short events, high prices, and all the blame goes to the company… must be nice.”
