Advertiser Seizes Kim Soo Hyun’s Luxury Apartment After He Fails To Pay Penalty Fee

Kim Soo Hyun has had one of his luxury apartments seized by Classys after he failed to repay the penalty fees owed.

According to a statement shared by Kim Soo Hyun’s legal counsel, one of his apartments has been seized by cosmetics and skincare company Classys. Kim Soo Hyun purchased three units in the luxury apartment complex Galleria Forêt in 2013 and 2014. Classys seized his 2013 unit after failing to repay [kwr]3 billion[/krw] in penalties following his scandal with Kim Sae Ron.

Kim Soo Hyun’s legal counsel has claimed that Classys’ seizure of his apartment is unjustified, framing Kim Soo Hyun as a victim of Garo Sero Institute and Kim Se Ui’s malicious reporting. His legal counsel conceded that advertisers who signed Kim Soo Hyun are also suffering financially due to the situation, but emphasized that fault and responsibility should be placed on Garo Sero Institute and Kim Se Ui, not Kim Soo Hyun.

Classys filed a case for the seizure of Kim Soo Hyun’s apartment on May 8 and the seizure was approved by the Seoul Eastern Court on May 20.
