Channel A’s upcoming drama “My Lovely Journey” has unveiled the first look at Yoo Joon Sang’s character!
Based on a bestselling Japanese novel by Maha Harada, “My Lovely Journey” tells the story of a former idol-turned-travel reporter who has never been the center of attention in her life. As she takes on travel assignments on behalf of others, she embarks on a journey of self-discovery, coming to understand the true meaning of success and life.
Yoo Joon Sang plays Oh Sang Sik, the CEO of Ogu Entertainment, the agency to which Kang Yeo Reum (Gong Seung Yeon) belongs. Born as the youngest son in a family of doctors, he has experienced major turning points in his life, from being a boxer to a former manager, and now the head of an entertainment company.
In the first still, Sang Sik is seen neatly dressed in a checkered jacket, gazing intently at someone with deep, thoughtful eyes. His charismatic presence, shaped by his past as a boxer and manager, is palpable, and his unique inner strength—honed by persevering through the harsh realities of the entertainment industry—clearly shines through.
In another still, Sang Sik is shown in the office, raising his finger as if to boost his employees’ morale and demonstrating his leadership. Although he is the CEO of an entertainment company on the brink of collapse, this moment hints at his dream of one day creating films and dramas that bring happiness to people, together with the kind-hearted artists gathered under the name Ogu.
