The stars of MBC’s “Oh My Ghost Clients” have shared their thoughts ahead of tonight’s series finale!
“Oh My Ghost Clients” is a comedy-action drama starring Jung Kyung Ho as Noh Mu Jin, a labor attorney who can see ghosts. Together with his sister-in-law Na Hee Ju (Seol In Ah) and YouTuber Go Gyeon Woo (Cha Hak Yeon), he works to resolve the unsettled grudges of ghosts who died from industrial accidents.
With just one episode of the drama left to go, the three leads said their final farewells and mused on what “Oh My Ghost Clients” meant to them.
Jung Kyung Ho remarked, “While listening to the ghosts’ stories and solving their problems, I too was able to grow, which made this drama a deeply meaningful one. Because this drama tells the stories of laborers, I hope that it will give viewers comfort and encouragement up until the very end, and I hope that it will remain [in people’s memories] as a drama that sounded an alarm on the issues that are currently affecting laborers.”
As for what viewers can look forward to in the finale, he teased, “The real reason why Bo Sal chose Mu Jin will be revealed in the final episode. I hope that many viewers will empathize. Thank you to all the viewers who gave everyone in [Mu Jins] so much love and support.”
Meanwhile, Seol In Ah shared, “After being cast as Hee Ju, I tried to sincerely convey the message I needed to communicate, and I hope that those feelings came across to viewers.“ She went on to add, “It occurred to me that in reality, there may be many such stories of injustice that we don’t know about.”
Cha Hak Yeon similarly revealed, “Every time an episode ended, I had the thought that there are still people out there who need Mu Jin, Hee Ju, and Gyeon Woo. I hope that the drama’s message is conveyed to many people, and I hope that it remains a drama that people can relate to and talk about for a long time.”
Finally, he concluded, “With the mindset of ‘Impossible is Nothing,’ [Mujins] has solved tremendous cases, relieved ghosts’ anger, and achieved individual growth. Now, they only have their final showdown with Myungeum Construction left to go. Please stay tuned until the end to find out how they resolve this case!”
