Upcoming drama “Our Golden Days” has shared a sneak peek of its first script reading!
“Our Golden Days” is a generational family drama built around the idea that everyone experiences their own glorious days—whether in the present, the past, or the future still to come. The story explores how people encounter and reflect on these meaningful moments in life.
The script reading session was attended by writer So Hyun Kyung, director Kim Hyung Seok, and the cast, including Jung Il Woo, Jung In Sun, Yoon Hyun Min, Chun Ho Jin, Lee Tae Ran, Ban Hyo Jung, Yoon Joo Sang, Kim Hee Jung, Park Sung Geun, Kim Jung Young, Shin Soo Hyun, Son Sang Yeon, Park Jung Yeon, and more.
Once the script reading began, the actors immersed themselves deeply in their characters and delivered their lines with impressive focus.
Jung Il Woo plays Lee Ji Hyuk, a capable man who draws a sharp line between his work and personal life, while Jung In Sun plays Ji Eun Oh, a cheerful and optimistic café manager and interior designer. Yoon Hyun Min plays Park Sung Jae, a polished and confident man born into privilege. Not only did the actors showcase exceptional interpretations of their characters, but the three leads also displayed strong chemistry that was fun at times and tense at others.
Meanwhile, veteran actors Chun Ho Jin, Lee Tae Ran, Ban Hyo Jung, Yoon Joo Sang, Kim Hee Jung, Park Sung Geun, and Kim Jung Young—who play the roles of Lee Sang Chul, Go Sung Hee, Jo Ok Rye, Kim Jang Soo, Kim Da Jung, Park Jin Seok, and Jung Soon Hee, respectively—impressed with their commanding presence and seasoned acting skills. They expertly guided the emotional flow of the drama with their strong teamwork, and their outstanding performances firmly anchored the story while making a strong impression.
Additionally, the passionate energy and diverse chemistry of the younger cast members, including Shin Soo Hyun, Son Sang Yeon, and Park Jung Yeon, added even more fun to the script reading.
After the script reading, Jung Il Woo remarked, “It felt both unfamiliar and exciting to be back in a familiar place, but in a totally different role. The process of the characters’ emotions gradually being revealed makes this drama very captivating.”
Jung In Sun shared, “These are people I’ve always wanted to work with at least once. The character of Eun Oh feels like one I can fully immerse myself in. I’ll work hard so this drama can truly resonate with viewers.”
Finally, Yoon Hyun Min commented, “I hope many people find comfort in watching this drama. I’ll prepare a performance that’s like a mixed gift set, so please give us lots of support.”

“Our Golden Days” is set to premiere in August, taking over the time slot currently occupied by “For Eagle Brothers.”
