Disney+’s upcoming series “Low Life” has unveiled a new poster and teaser!

Based on the webtoon of the same name, “Low Life” is a crime drama that follows a group of down-on-their-luck country folks as they chase after a sunken treasure ship beneath the sea.

The newly released poster grabs attention with the intriguing tagline: “Opportunity knocks…” Beneath the eye-catching line, 13 main cast members—Ryu Seung Ryong, Yang Se Jong, Im Soo Jung, Kim Eui Sung, Kim Sung Oh, Hong Ki Joon, Woo Hyun, Lee Dong Hwi, TVXQ’s Yunho, Im Hyung Joon, Lee Sang Jin, Kim Min, and Kim Jin Wook—make a strong visual impression.

The cast brings together veteran actors and fresh new faces, suggesting a vibrant mix of unique and evolving characters. This ensemble hints at a gripping narrative that explores the desires and greed of a wide range of personalities. Featuring talent across generations, the cast is expected to elevate both the distinctive charm and production quality of the series, delivering a story that is sharp, layered, and entertaining.

The teaser trailer launches the high-stakes mind games with a line from Oh Gwan Seok (Ryu Seung Ryong), who says, “If it’s true, we all hit the jackpot. If it’s just a rumor, we all miss out.” The story follows a group of characters—a tomb raider, appraiser, police officer, broker, and driver—each with different backgrounds and motives, who become entangled in the pursuit of one shared goal: a sunken treasure ship.

From the thick dialect of Professor Kim (Kim Eui Sung), who declares, “So many scumbags together in one place,” to the bold proclamation from Yang Jeong Sook (Im Soo Jung), who says, “Whatever you manage to salvage, I’ll buy it all,” the dialogue breathes life into the characters and adds energy to the story. With characters drawn from across South Korea—including Seoul, Busan, and Mokpo—the variety of regional dialects adds texture and authenticity. Combined with the retro production design set in the 1970s, the series grounds itself in a vivid and immersive setting.

    Watch the full teaser below:

The 11-episode run of “Low Life” begins July 16 with three episodes, followed by two episodes each on July 23, July 30, August 6, and August 13.
