Netizens are divided in their response to the callout.
A HYBE creative director has seemingly called out the fourth-generation boy group, CRAVITY, on social media.

Minchae, the artist who has worked with major HYBE artists, including BTS‘s V and Jin, and TXT, recently posted an Instagram story that many netizens found to be suggestive.
The story in question was a “throwback” post from when she worked with TXT’s Beomgyu for his Panic mixtape. Minchae was in charge of the visual creative direction and production of the record. The story also included a simple caption, “authenticity & sincerity.”
Netizens quickly connected the dots, speculating that Minchae was calling out the recent concept photos released by CRAVITY, which many felt were too similar to the visual creative direction of Panic.

While some netizens felt that Minchae was completely within her rights to take the jab, others argued that HYBE has also done the same to other creatives before.

- “Is she going after them?”
- “Isn’t this something HYBE has done many times as well?”

- “The photographer is the same. So how can you even raise this concern?”
— “Maybe because the director is different?”
— “The director plans the concept and object. I’m not sure what a photographer has to do with it.”

- “That person isn’t even the one plagiarizing, so why are they being mocked for simply being a HYBE group’s director? The comments are ridiculous?”
- “The comments are really unbelievable.”
- “CRAVITY is making a lot of noise with their concept photos this time. I’m rooting for them because they have members I like, but it’s a bit disappointing.”
