2PM’s Taecyeon Admits He Was Left Cringing While Filming Romance Scene With Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun

2PM member and actor Taecyeon recently admitted that while filming his new K-Drama with Girls’ Generation‘s Seohyun, he struggled quite a lot.

On June 11, both Taeceyon and Seohyun appeared as special guests on KBS Cool FM‘s Lee Eun Ji’s Gayo Plaza to promote their new fantasy romance drama, The First Night With The Duke.

During the episode, the pair was sharing some behind-the-scenes stories when the host asked Taecyeon if there was any particular dialogue from the drama that had stuck with him. In response, he and Seohyun played out a short scenario from the script.

In the scene, Seohyun’s character says, “Are you crazy?” and Taecyeon’s character replies, “Of course I am…for Cha Seon Chaek (Seohyun’s character).”

As soon as he was done delivering the line, Taecyeon mentioned that he got goosebumps down his back from the cheesiness. Host Lee Eun Ji also joked that the scene must have been hilarious to film. Seohyun immediately agreed, saying it was “funny to watch” him struggle with the line. Taecyeon playfully complained, “She didn’t help me at all!” 

When Seohyun tried to defend herself, Taecyeon revealed that she kept saying “Oppa, get away from me” during the takes, teasing him for the cringeworthy dialogue. Seohyun also mentioned that they always ended up laughing after filming since the atmosphere on set was so light-hearted.
