As the group faces criticism from some fans, Sunwoo has acknowledged what is happening.
On June 11, on the fan chatting platform Fromm, Sunwoo shared messages with fans, telling them to disregard the rumors. He also offered a code for fans to join him in playing a game.
He followed up with another response, seeming to apologize more formally after realizing what was going on.

The reactions were increasingly negative, with his previous scandal being brought up.
Earlier this year, Sunwoo was involved in a bad attitude scandal that grew to involve former Afterschool‘s Nana, who “called out” his behavior. The idol allegedly yelled at a security guard to pick up his airpods, leading Nana to criticize him on more than one occasion.
