tvN’s upcoming drama “Shin’s Project” has unveiled a new poster featuring Han Suk Kyu and Bae Hyeon Seong!
“Shin’s Project” is a comedy series that follows the story of Mr. Shin, a man who takes it upon himself to mediate conflicts and assist people through seemingly unwinnable situations. Han Suk Kyu stars as Mr. Shin, a former legendary negotiator who now runs a modest chicken restaurant. He willingly rushes into every conflict, settles problems, and delivers justice as a neighborhood hero. Bae Hyeon Seong plays Jo Philip, who works at Mr. Shin’s fried chicken restaurant.
The newly released poster highlights the teamwork between Mr. Shin and Jo Philip, who will do whatever it takes to solve problems by any means necessary. Against the familiar backdrop of a fried chicken restaurant, Mr. Shin and Jo Philip are seated at a negotiation table in matching black suits and sunglasses with serious expressions.
Instead of relying on the law, Mr. Shin leads negotiations in his own way, overpowering his opponent and taking control of the discussion with a furrowed brow. In his hand, he holds a fried chicken coupon and a photo card featuring Jo Philip’s face, suggesting that Mr. Shin will stop at nothing to solve problems—even using charm or bending the rules if necessary.
In contrast, Jo Philip, who was always first in his class starting from grade school through his days in the police academy and law school before eventually being appointed a judge, presents the image of a textbook negotiator with a notebook and fountain pen in hand. Drawing on his extensive legal knowledge, he seeks to resolve disputes by following the law. With his strong commitment to doing things by the book, how will Jo Philip handle the many conflicts that cannot be settled by legal interpretation alone?
After unexpectedly crossing paths as a fried chicken restaurant owner and employee, Mr. Shin and Jo Philip strike up a partnership while each working to resolve the world’s conflicts in their own way. Their poster’s tagline declares, “We’ll resolve it for you no matter what!”
“Shin’s Project” is set to premiere on September 15 at 8:50 p.m. KST.
