MBC’s “Mary Kills People” has released new stills teasing a tense confrontation in the upcoming episode!
A remake of the Canadian series of the same name, MBC’s “Mary Kills People” stars Lee Bo Young as Woo So Jung, a doctor who illegally provides euthanasia to patients with incurable illnesses.

In the previous episode, Woo So Jung’s shocking past came to light: she was once suspected of murdering her mother, who had been battling cancer, and this revelation exposed the moment that led her to embrace assisted death. Despite Ban Ji Hoon’s (Lee Min Ki) repeated warnings to stop, So Jung remained resolute in her decision.
The newly released stills capture the moment Woo So Jung is finally handcuffed by Ban Ji Hoon. Just as she confirms the death of patient Lee Yoon Hee (Yang Jo Ah), who had been suffering from excruciating pain, Ji Hoon bursts into the room. Without hesitation, he snaps handcuffs around her wrists, while So Jung returns his gaze with a mix of fear and steely determination.
The scene sets the stage for a fierce showdown between Woo So Jung, who carries a conviction and sense of duty toward assisted death, and Ban Ji Hoon, who is determined to arrest her and uphold the law. Will So Jung be taken away in handcuffs, or will their conflict spiral into an even more explosive confrontation?
The production team remarked, “Please stay tuned to see whether Ban Ji Hoon will be able to extract a confession from Woo So Jung—and what fate awaits them both.”
