Lee Kwang Soo’s upcoming romantic comedy film “Love Barista” has confirmed its Vietnam release date!
“Love Barista” follows Kang Joon Woo, Asia’s biggest star who finds himself stranded in Vietnam without his manager, passport, or even a single penny. Directed by Kim Sung Hoon, best known for “Confidential Assignment” and “Rampant,” the movie blends comedy, romance, and a touch of survival drama in a foreign land.
Lee Kwang Soo plays Kang Joon Woo, a top celebrity at the height of his career. What begins as a simple commercial shoot in Vietnam turns into chaos after an unexpected incident leaves him completely on his own. In the midst of his struggles, he meets Thao (Hoàng Hà), an aspiring barista, and the two begin an unpredictable romance.

“Love Barista” hits theaters in Vietnam on October 3 and is slated for release in Korea in the second half of 2025.
