“My Daughter Is a Zombie” has now become the biggest hit of 2025 at the South Korean box office!
According to the Korean Film Council, as of August 16 KST, “My Daughter Is a Zombie” had recorded a total of over 4,310,000 moviegoers.
The film, which remained No. 1 at the Korean box office, has now overtaken the Hollywood movie “F1” (which has recorded approximately 4.1 million moviegoers in South Korea) to become the most-watched release of 2025.
Based on the webtoon of the same name, “My Daughter Is a Zombie” is a heartfelt comedy about a devoted father who goes to extreme lengths to protect his daughter, who is the last surviving zombie on Earth. The film stars Jo Jung Suk, Cho Yeo Jeong, Lee Jung Eun, Choi Yu Ri, and more.
