Kim Da Mi And Shin Ye Eun Are Ready To Roll As Bus Attendants In New Drama “A Hundred Memories”

JTBC’s upcoming drama “A Hundred Memories” has unveiled its first poster featuring Kim Da Mi and Shin Ye Eun!

“A Hundred Memories” is a nostalgic 1980s youth romance drama centered around bus conductor Go Young Rye (Kim Da mi), her close friendship with Seo Jong Hee (Shin Ye Eun), and their shared first love Han Jae Pil (Heo Nam Jun). As the trio comes of age, the drama offers laughter, empathy, and heartfelt emotion while evoking nostalgic memories.

The drama takes viewers down memory lane through the story of two young people, Young Rye and Jong Hee. Despite the hardship of catching the No. 100 bus at dawn to make a living, their youth still manages to shine.

The teaser poster shows Young Rye and Jong Hee, attendants on the No. 100 bus, wearing red berets and navy uniforms. Leaning from the open door of a bus full of passengers, they look around as if the poster’s copy, “We’re departing, all right!” could be heard aloud. Most of all, the friends’ bright smiles capture the full energy of youth.

Another highlight is the youthful spirit expressed through Young Rye and Jong Hee. Young Rye, a devoted firstborn daughter, struggles with motion sickness but rides the bus every day to support her mother’s livelihood and pursue her dream of attending college. She may appear to be a sweet, model student, but if someone skips out on paying the fare, she will chase them down to collect it. A low-key eccentric, once she gets going, no one can stop her.

In contrast, Jong Hee is as full of talent and energy as her bold red lipstick, a charismatic “girl crush” figure of that era who never lets anyone push her around. Dreaming of escaping her troubled family background, she takes a job at Cheong Ah Transportation.

Despite their differences, the two become lifelong best friends. But their destined first love sends them through waves of intense emotions. The drama aims to vividly capture the face of youth—more tender because it is the first time, more bittersweet because it is clumsy, and unchanged even as times change.

The production team stated, “The pairing of Kim Da Mi and Shin Ye Eun, two of the most trusted and popular young actors, adds a compelling layer to the emotional impact of ‘A Hundred Memories.’ The drama promises a dramatic storyline, featuring retro charm centered on the role of a bus attendant, the dazzling yet bittersweet friendship of youth, and a heartfelt tale of first love.”

They added, “We hope to deliver a story that presses the nostalgia button for viewers. Please wait for us at the stop where ‘A Hundred Memories’ will board.”

“A Hundred Memories” is set to premiere on September 13 at 1o:40 p.m. KST.
