Based on a popular webtoon, ENA’s “The Defects” is a new action thriller about children who have been abandoned by their adoptive parents—and their fight for survival and revenge.

On the previous episode of “The Defects,” the shocking secret that Kim Se Hee (Yum Jung Ah) was Kim Ah Hyun (Won Jin Ah)’s birth mother came to light. Meanwhile, after risking her life to sneak into Se Hee’s research lab, Ah Hyun was ultimately captured by Jung Hyun (Dex), Se Hee’s fiercely loyal human weapon.
In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming episode, Se Hee faces off with Ah Hyun in an abandoned factory. Knowing that she is on the brink of death, Ah Hyun fights for her life with tears and desperate screams, but the ruthless Se Hee is chillingly unmoved by her daughter’s emotional outburst.
However, an injured Jung Hyun finds himself wavering as he faces the helpless Ah Hyun. Jung Hyun, who was raised to become a deadly human weapon, has always repressed his emotions and faithfully carried out his orders—but there is now a nervous look in his eyes that hints at a change within him.
