They chose disbandment over a hiatus.
After over a decade together, a beloved boy group is saying goodbye to their loyal fans.

Kankaku Piero (also known as Kankaku Pierrot) is a four-member indie J-Rock band under Jiji Records, an independent record label they founded in 2013. Among anime fans, the group is known for Black Clover‘s opening songs “Haruka Mirai” and “Rakugaki Page”. Kankaku Piero announced that they will disband in October, after their MY NAME IS tour ends.

“After each member seriously considered their future and after many discussions, we decided not to go on hiatus but to officially disband,” the group wrote in an official statement on their website. “We apologize for the sudden announcement. The time we have left is limited, but we’ll continue to face our music head-on, as Kankaku Piero, until the very end.”
