Channel A’s new drama “My Lovely Journey” has unveiled a glimpse of an emotional moment for Gong Seung Yeon!
Based on a bestselling novel by Maha Harada, “My Lovely Journey” tells the story of a former idol-turned-travel reporter who has never been a “center” in her life. As she takes on travel assignments on behalf of others, she embarks on a journey of self-discovery, coming to understand the true meaning of success and life.
Gong Seung Yeon will star as Kang Yeo Reum, a former idol attempting to make a fresh start as a reporter, while Kim Jae Young will play Lee Yeon Seok, an aspiring film director with an elite engineering degree who quit a prestigious job to pursue his dream.
In newly released stills from the upcoming drama, the always sunny and cheerful Yeo Reum breaks down crying due to an unexpected situation. In contrast to the polished and professional image she presents on duty as a travel reporter, Yeo Reum is dressed comfortably in her pajamas while relaxing at home.
However, Yeo Reum’s alone time at home isn’t exactly peaceful. Instead, her troubled expression and slightly disheveled hair hint at the emotional struggle she is experiencing. With multiple empty cans of beer haphazardly discarded across her table, Yeo Reum looks confused and distraught as she switches back and forth between her phone and her laptop before ultimately bursting into tears.
