The first part of the Class Battle has been unveiled for “BOYS II PLANET”!
“BOYS II PLANET K” and “BOYS II PLANET C” were originally intended to air as two separate audition programs, with each show debuting its own boy group. However, Mnet later changed the format so that as the competition progresses, the two narratives will eventually converge into one, ultimately leading to the debut of a single boy group instead of two separate groups.
After eliminating half of the contestants as a result of the Signal Song Test, the K and C groups combined for the first time in the July 31 episode. The 80 remaining contestants were given rankings based on the Signal Song Test results, and in this ranking order, contestants were granted power to choose their members and songs for the Class Battle. TWS’s “plot twist,” Stray Kids’ “S-Class,” ZEROBASEONE’s “Devil Game,” aespa’s “Whiplash,” and TVXQ’s “Rising Sun” were announced as the five song choices for the battle, with two teams competing for each song.
Of the 10 teams, performances for three of the teams were unveiled on the July 31 episode.
