The upcoming drama “Confidence Queen” has dropped a new teaser poster and clip!
A Korean adaptation of the 2018 Japanese comedy drama “The Confidence Man JP,” “Confidence Queen” follows three con artists with extraordinary talents as they pull off elaborate scams targeting villains from all walks of life. Park Min Young stars as Yoon Yi Rang, a con artist with an IQ of 165 and a genius-level intellect in the top 1 percent. With her eccentric thinking and cold charisma, she leads the team in their intricate schemes.
The newly released teaser poster highlights the charismatic presence of Yoon Yi Rang, the genius con artist leader. Dressed in a sharp suit, Yi Rang sits nonchalantly on a sofa, trampling piles of money scattered across it with her shoe, demonstrating her overflowing confidence.
The newly released teaser video begins with Yoon Yi Rang showcasing her charm as she says, “My looks are my greatest weapon.” Myung Gu Ho (Joo Jong Hyuk), the youngest member of the group, is seen facing various circumstances but remains positive, saying, “Isn’t the real thrill of a con scheme all about these unexpected situations?” Veteran con artist James (Park Hee Soon), who has a great sense of humor and wit, also showcases his versatile nature, bringing laughter and playful energy to the team.
