A masterpiece? Or a cheap copy?
A Korean rap song has taken the internet by storm and left netizens scratching their heads, wondering how the lyrics made it to the final cut.
It all started with one X user posting a short clip of the said song with the caption “???” and soon enough, more and more users on the platform were intrigued to click on the video to see what had left the OP (original poster) so baffled. On the surface, the video had everything— good visual aesthetics, a badass-looking rapper, and a hype beat. The only problem?— the rapper kept singing about her favorite food items by naming them one by one, and that was the whole song. Once her roster of the dishes is over, the chorus arrives, once again with an impressive number of repetitions of the phrase “Sexy Food.”

Thanks to the absurdity of the lyrics, views started flooding in, and at the time of writing, they were inching close to 4 million!
Fortunately, netizens discovered soon enough that it was a parody song called “Sexy Food,” actually performed by beloved comedian Lee Soo Ji under the alias of HAMBUGGY. The song was specifically satirizing the popular rap styles in recent times.
