Hyeri may be teaming up with Hwang In Youp for a new romance drama!
On July 24, it was reported that Hyeri has received an offer to star in the upcoming drama “To You” (literal title).
In response to the report, her agency SUBLIME shared, “Hyeri has received an offer for the new drama ‘To You’ and is currently reviewing it.”
Penned by writer Jung Eun Bi, who worked on “Beauty Inside” and “Doom at Your Service,” “To You” is a romantic comedy that follows two people at different crossroads in life. Reporter Yi Jae was a fearless teenager driven by dreams, only to become disillusioned in her twenties after facing harsh realities. Now in her thirties, she feels like she has settled into mediocrity. Meanwhile, film director Soo Bin spent his teens living a life planned out by his parents, broke out of his shell in his twenties, and finally achieved his dreams by his thirties.
Hyeri has been offered the role of the female lead Yi Jae. Earlier this year, it was revealed that Hwang In Youp is in talks to play Soo Bin.
