SBS’s idol survival show “B:MY BOYZ” has wrapped up its second round of competition!
“B:MY BOYZ” is a new boy group survival show in which top idols participate directly in choosing which contestants (known as “B:GINNERS”) make the final debut lineup.
Round 2, which kicked off last week, was a “13 vs. 13 team death match” featuring MONSTA X as the round’s top idol. The round consisted of three separate battles: in the first battle, after being split up into two teams of 13 contestants each (“MY MONSTAZ” and “MONSTA B”), nine members from each team went head-to-head with covers of different MONSTA X songs.
In the second battle, a “vocal match,” the remaining four members from each team showcased their vocals through a cover of a different artist. The MY MONSTAZ team covered BTS’s “Spring Day” last week, while MONSTA B members Kang Junseong, Li Zhiwei, Park Junhyeok, and Jang Won performed DAY6’s “You Were Beautiful” on this week’s episode.
In the final battle, a “mega performance match,” both teams staged 13-member dance performances set to MONSTA X’s debut track “Trespass.”
After watching all six performances from Round 2, the MONSTA X members who made a special appearance on the show—Shownu, Kihyun, and Hyungwon—chose one team as their “Top Pick.” All 13 members of the winning team automatically advanced to the next round, while the 13 members of the losing team became candidates for elimination.
Outside of the “Top Pick” team, the three MONSTA X members were also asked to pick two contestants from the losing team to save from elimination.

At the end of the round, the three MONSTA X members chose the MY MONSTAZ team as their top pick, meaning that all of the following contestants will survive and advance to the next round:
