MBC’s upcoming drama “Mary Kills People” has unveiled a suspenseful new teaser!
A remake of the Canadian series of the same name, “Mary Kills People” stars Lee Bo Young as Woo So Jung, a doctor who illegally provides euthanasia to patients with incurable illnesses. Lee Min Ki will play Jo Hyun Woo, a terminally ill patient with a brain tumor.
The new teaser begins with Woo So Jung tearfully telling Jo Hyun Woo, “I’ll send you to the place where you want to go.” Next, Choi Dae Hyun (Kang Ki Young), a former plastic surgeon who helps Woo So Jung with her work, is heard saying, “Tell me what it is you want.” Seemingly in response, a mother asks, “Please let my child die.”
As rumors about Woo So Jung “prescribing death to patients” swirl, the police appears to be hot on her trail. As two cops approach her in the emergency room, someone warns her, “Stop what you’re doing immediately,” while she counters, “How did you end up like this? Is it okay for you to deceive others, so long as you achieve your goal?”
After a glimpse of a scene in which Jo Hyun Woo kisses Woo So Jung, the teaser cuts to another scene in which he grabs her by the arm and vows, “I’ll catch you no matter what.” She calmly replies, “You’ll never be able to catch me. Because I haven’t committed a crime.”
