Netflix’s upcoming series “Trigger” has unveiled new stills featuring its cast!

“Trigger” is an action-packed thriller drama set in South Korea, a country known for its strict gun control laws. The story follows two men who, for their own reasons, take up arms amidst a rising wave of illegal firearms mysteriously appearing across the nation that leads to an unprecedented surge in gun-related crimes. Kim Nam Gil stars as Lee Do, a police officer who picks up guns once more to uphold justice, while Kim Young Kwang plays Moon Baek, a mysterious figure who aids Lee Do amid rising gun crimes while concealing his own secrets.

The newly released stills showcase a standout cast of trusted actors, including Kim Nam Gil, Kim Young Kwang, Park Hoon, Gil Hae Yeon, Kim Won Hae, and Woo Ji Hyun. Adding to the excitement, Jung Woong In and Jo Han Chul are also set to make special appearances.

The first still captures Lee Do at the scene, pursuing the truth after discovering illegal firearms. His eyes, as he holds a gun in his hand, seem to burn with cold fury.

Meanwhile, Moon Baek is shown inspecting a gun. As Lee Do’s mysterious ally, it raises questions about what choice he will make when confronted with the weapon.

Koo Jung Man (Park Hoon) makes a strong impression in the dark. A gofer who handles the dirty work for a crime boss, Koo Jung Man sees the gun he stumbles upon as an opportunity.

Meanwhile, Oh Kyung Sook (Gil Hae Yeon) draws attention with a heartbreaking presence. Following the unjust death of her son, she holds a solo protest every day. The sign she carries, which reads, “Listen to the voice of my dead son,” clearly reflects her deep desperation.

The stills also feature Cho Hyun Sik (Kim Won Hae), the police substation chief who sees Lee Do as a son. As Lee Do picks up a gun once again, Cho Hyun Sik looks heartbroken, his face heavy with worry as he raises a glass.

Meanwhile, Yoo Jung Tae (Woo Ji Hyun), a longtime civil service exam taker, sits in a classroom filled with focused students, staring blankly into space, adding to the intrigue.

Also drawing interest are the commanding presence of the police chief (Jung Woong In), and Team Leader Joo (Jo Han Chul), who looks like he’s in a serious situation.

Expectations are high for how each episode, centered around such a diverse group of characters, will unfold, and what roles Lee Do and Moon Baek will play as they follow the story.

“Trigger” will premiere on July 25.
