KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “My Girlfriend Is the Man!” has unveiled a sneak peek at its tense love triangle!
Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “My Girlfriend Is the Man!” is a romantic comedy about a college student whose girlfriend unexpectedly transforms into a man.
ASTRO’s Yoon San Ha stars as Park Yoon Jae, an astronomy student who is head over heels for his girlfriend Kim Ji Eun (OH MY GIRL’s Arin). Due to a gene that runs in her family, Kim Ji Eun suddenly turns into a handsome man (played by Yoo Jung Hoo) and begins going by the name Kim Ji Hoon. Chuu plays Kang Min Joo, a popular student who secretly has a crush on Park Yoon Jae.
The newly released stills tease the sizzling love triangle between Park Yoon Jae, Kim Ji Eun, and Kang Min Joo. In the scene, Kang Min Joo appears before the couple, and when Park Yoon Jae introduces Kim Ji Eun as his girlfriend, Kang Min Joo begins to act provocatively.
She clings to Park Yoon Jae and whispers something to him right in front of Kim Ji Eun, provoking her jealousy. Kim Ji Eun glares sharply at Kang Min Joo, while Park Yoon Jae, flustered by Kang Min Joo’s unexpected behavior, nervously checks his girlfriend’s reaction. Viewers are left wondering: will Kang Min Joo’s daring flirting put Park Yoon Jae and Kim Ji Eun’s relationship to the test?
The production team shared, “Yoon San Ha, Arin, and Chuu are like a warm and beautiful trio who always care for each other,” adding, “Though this is their first time working together, the three showed perfect chemistry, likely because they understand both the synergy and challenges of balancing careers as singers and actors. Please look forward to their standout performances in ‘My Girlfriend Is the Man!’”
“My Girlfriend Is the Man!” premieres on July 23 at 9:50 p.m. KST and will be available to watch on Viki.
