tvN’s “Head Over Heels” has shared new stills ahead of its upcoming episode!
“Head Over Heels” is a fantasy romance drama about a boy who is fated to die and the young shaman who tries to rescue him from his fate. Cho Yi Hyun stars as Park Seong A, a high school student who leads a double life as a shaman by night. Choo Young Woo plays her first love Bae Gyeon U, who is plagued by bad luck and was born with the misfortune of a predestined death.

In the previous episode, Gyeon U made a dangerous deal with the evil spirit Bong Soo to protect Seong A. He agreed to let Bong Soo possess his body while he was at school in exchange for being allowed to participate in the archery competition. Although Seong A opposed the life-threatening deal, Gyeon U remained steadfast, confessing his feelings for her and saying that he was no longer afraid because of her. Despite the looming threat of possession, their love only deepened.
The newly released stills capture the two just moments before a kiss. Holding hands tightly, Gyeon U and Seong A gaze at each other with affection. Gyeon U leans in closer while Seong A closes her eyes, their faces inches apart, building anticipation for their tender moment.
Another set of stills shows Seong A hard at work as a shaman. With a determined expression, she inscribes a talisman onto Gyeon U’s body—who may still be under Bong Soo’s influence—heightening curiosity about her ritual’s purpose.
Meanwhile, Yeom Hwa (Choo Ja Hyun), who had planned to accept the evil spirit as her new deity, begins to feel threatened by his unexpected behavior. Her crazed glare as she confronts him raises tension and questions about her next move. However, Bong Soo shows no sign of backing down, meeting her with a cold, menacing stare—so different from the warmth he shows Seong A.
Another still shows Bong Soo searching for something in the school’s flowerbed, deepening the mystery.
The production team commented, “In today’s episode, viewers will see Seong A and Gyeon U’s mutual rescue deepen after their confessions. You can also look forward to their new ‘human talisman’ strategy to stop Bong Soo’s rampage. Yeom Hwa’s terrifying plan to make the evil spirit her deity will create unexpected variables for both Bae Gyeon U and Bong Soo.
