    Park Hee Soon And Joo Jong Hyuk Confirmed Alongside Park Min Young For New Remake Series + Premiere Date Announced

    It’s official—Park Hee Soon and Joo Jong Hyuk will be starring alongside Park Min Young in a new drama!

    On July 15, Coupang Play’s upcoming series “Confidence Man KR” (literal title) announced the cast lineup consisting of Park Min Young, Park Hee Soon, and Joo Jong Hyuk.

    A Korean adaptation of the 2018 Japanese comedy drama “The Confidence Man JP,” “The Confidence Man KR” will tell the story of three con artists with extraordinary talents as they pull off elaborate scams targeting villains from all walks of life.

    Park Min Young will play con artist Yoon Yi Rang, who as an IQ of 165 and a genius-level intellect in the top 1 percent. With her eccentric way of thinking and cold charisma, she will act as the leader of the con artist group.

    Park Hee Soon will take on the role of veteran con artist James who has a great sense of humor and wit, showcasing his character’s versatile nature. Joo Jong Hyuk will transform into Myung Gu Ho, the youngest of the group known for his innocence and sincerity, bringing adorable charm and playful energy to the team.

    Previously, it was confirmed that Song Ji Hyo as well as Park Min Young’s “Marry My Husband” co-star Lee Yi Kyung will be making special appearances in the drama.

    Director Nam Ki Hoon of “Big Bet,” “Kiss Sixth Sense,” “Oh My Baby,” “Voice 3,” and more will be teaming up with scriptwriter Hong Seung Hyun of “Criminal Minds” and “Cheo Yong” 1 and 2 (literal title) for the upcoming drama.

    “Confidence Man KR” will premiere on September 6 at 9:10 p.m. KST. Stay tuned for updates!
