Disney+’s upcoming drama “Twelve” has unveiled its first poster!
Inspired by the 12 zodiac animals of the East, “Twelve” tells the story of 12 angels living in the human world in human form to protect the Korean Peninsula from evil spirits. Long ago, the angels barely managed to seal the forces of evil in the gates of hell through their sacrifice, bringing peace. However, with the evil spirits awakening, chaos returns.
The poster captures attention with Ma Dong Seok and Park Hyung Sik locked in a tense standoff, their piercing gazes holding each other in check. The sharp contrast between the two characters heightens the suspense, while the tiger and crow in the background—symbols of each man—stand out prominently.
Ma Dong Seok, who plays Tae San, the leader of the 12 angels and a figure symbolizing the tiger, dominates the screen with his commanding presence. After losing four comrades and being betrayed by humans, Tae San chose to withdraw from the human world. His return to confront evil raises intrigue about what compels him to fight for humans once again.
Park Hyung Sik portrays Ogui, a crow symbol who failed to become one of the 12 angels and instead allied himself with evil. His fierce presence signals a powerful clash ahead. Sealed away by the angels thousands of years ago, Ogui reawakens and immediately threatens them with overwhelming power. The glowing red stone in his chest draws further curiosity, prompting questions about its origin and abilities.
The tagline, “Stand against the forces of evil and save the world!” teases an epic showdown as Tae San and the other angels rise to face the reawakened forces of evil. Anticipation is high for the spectacular action sequences and the thrilling, original storyline of “Twelve.”
“Twelve” is an 8-episode series that will premiere on August 23. Stay tuned!
