They will soon embark on a new chapter.
PLEDIS Entertainment has officially announced that SEVENTEEN members Hoshi and Woozi will be enlisting in the South Korean military this September to fulfill their mandatory service.
According to the agency, Woozi is scheduled to enlist as an active-duty soldier in the Army on September 15, 2025, followed by Hoshi on September 16. Ahead of their enlistment, the two idols will hold their final official activities, including the HOSHI X WOOZI FAN CONCERT [WARNING] and a video call fansign event for their fifth full album SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN.
While Hoshi and Woozi will be unable to participate in SEVENTEEN’s group schedules during their service, PLEDIS assured fans that a variety of pre-prepared content will be released to stay connected with CARATs during their absence.
The agency also kindly requested fans to refrain from visiting the military training center, noting that the entrance ceremony is a private event shared with many other enlistees and their families. Fans are instead encouraged to leave their words of support through Weverse.
“Hello, This is PLEDIS Entertainment.
SEVENTEEN members Hoshi and Woozi will begin fulfilling their mandatory military service starting this September. Woozi is scheduled to enlist as an active-duty soldier in the Army on September 15, and Hoshi on September 16. As their final official activities before enlistment, they will participate in the “HOSHI X WOOZI FAN CONCERT [WARNING]” and the 5th full album “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” video call fansign event. While they will not be able to take part in SEVENTEEN’s group activities during their service, various pre-recorded content has been prepared so they can continue connecting with CARATs.
As the military training center entrance ceremony is a shared occasion with many enlistees and their families, we kindly ask fans to refrain from visiting the site in person. We encourage you to send your messages of support and farewell to Hoshi and Woozi through Weverse instead. We ask for CARATs’ continued love and support so that Hoshi and Woozi can faithfully fulfill their duties and return in good health. We will also do our utmost to support the artists throughout their service.
Thank you.”
With their enlistment dates drawing near, fans across the world are preparing to bid a temporary farewell to the beloved duo as they begin this important chapter in their lives.
