Refunds Demanded For BLACKPINK’s Concert After A Whole Section Gets “No View”

YG Entertainment has officially issued an apology following backlash over the controversial “zero-view” seats in section N3 at BLACKPINK’s recent concert. The seating area became a hot topic after reviews online claimed that they were unable to see the girls at all. Instead, they got a view of a big screen.

BLACKPINK’s concert. A review of section N3, 3rd row at Goyang Sports Stadium. Actually there’s nothing to review as you absolutely can’t see a thing. They said that it’s possible that your view is restricted because of set-ups. But there’s just zero view. It’s not even like they released these seats on restricted view, but it’s general ticketing, so I’m really mad at that. Fireworks? Drones? Everything was obstructed so I could only see a little bit at the top and nothing else.

On July 7, 2025, after the controversy went viral, YG Entertainment released a statement in apology.

“We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the restricted stage view from the N3 seats during BLACKPINK’s concert last weekend. A console was installed in front of the N3 section, which unfortunately blocked the view of the stage. To mitigate this, we extended LED screens for the audience in that area. However, despite our intentions, we understand this led to further discomfort. We are currently preparing follow-up measures for those affected and will share detailed guidance via the ticketing platform.”

The incident occurred during BLACKPINK’s WORLD TOUR IN GOYANG held on July 5 and 6 at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. Fans expressed outrage as the N3 section, which should have offered a frontal view of the stage, was entirely blocked by a massive screen installed directly in front of it. This resulted in what fans have dubbed “zero-view” seats.

There was no prior notice about the obstruction. Although a disclaimer during ticketing mentioned “possible view obstruction due to structures,” the actual experience turned out to be complete visual blockage. Tickets for the N3 section were priced at around ₩130,000 KRW (about $95.40 USD), yet audience members were reportedly unable to see the members for the entire two-hour show. As a result, calls for refunds have been mounting.
