Recently, a boy group returned with new music for the first time in years.
Boy group MYNAME initially debuted in 2011 after being created by Fly to the Sky‘s Hwanhee under H2 Media. The group saw popularity, specifically in Japan where they held many promotions throughout their early active years.
In December 2019, H2 Media announced that the group had disbanded following the expiration of their contracts. This was later changed after member Seyong stated that they did not, as they still were completing activities in Japan.
Since then, the group’s activities have been spread out, as members complete their military service. The group’s last musical release was in July 2018, a Japanese full album titled Kiseki.
It was the group’s most recent release, until their recent comeback!
On July 2, MYNAME released a mini album featuring the track “Bad Bad Higher,” their first in seven years. This comeback features Gunwoo, Insoo, and Seyong, though the other two members are still listed as such.
Fans expressed their excitement to see that the group had returned with a new album after so long.
