Customers are outraged.
A Korean BBQ restaurant in Seoul is facing backlash after asking their female staff to take part in a controversial promotion to attract customers.

Female staff were asked to perform the viral “Terminal Dance” in front of customers. The sensual dance, known for hip sways and flirty gestures, was recorded and uploaded to social media with captions like, “Comment if you want their Instagrams.”

Staff were reportedly promised a 500,000 KRW (about $370 USD) bonus if the video hit 1 million views.

Although the employees danced in regular uniforms, many viewers felt it blurred the line between service and sexual entertainment. Critics called it degrading, with one saying it felt “no different from a brothel.”

Videos have since been reported to authorities for possibly violating food sanitation laws. Government officials have launched an investigation and requested the footage be removed.
