Upcoming weekend drama “Our Golden Days” has revealed three points to look forward to ahead of its premiere!
“Our Golden Days” is a generational family drama built around the idea that everyone has their own golden era—be it in the past, present, or future. The story explores how people encounter and reflect on those meaningful moments in life.
Here are three key points to watch out for:
1. Father and son at the heart of generational conflict
Lee Sang Chul (Chun Ho Jin) and Lee Ji Hyuk (Jung Il Woo) are set to portray a deeply realistic father-son clash. Ji Hyuk, once opposed to marriage, makes an unexpected life choice that intensifies the rift between them. Their long-suppressed emotions come to the surface, widening the gap in their relationship as they confront their differing values and perspectives.
2. Joys and struggles of three generations living under one roof
Jo Ok Re (Ban Hyo Jung) goes job hunting every day, frustrated by the reality that she must financially rely on her son Sang Chul. Her daughter-in-law Kim Da Jung (Kim Hee Jung) watches this family tension with a heavy heart while also trying to mediate between her husband and son. She navigates the everyday anxieties and emotional complexities of living with three generations under one roof.
3. Intriguing chemistry between siblings
Lee Ji Hyuk’s younger siblings Lee Soo Bin (Shin Soo Hyun) and Lee Ji Wan (Son Sang Yeon) are expected to bring dynamic energy to the story. Soo Bin dreams of marrying the perfect man and even signs up with a matchmaking service. On the other hand, Ji Wan, who values love and loyalty, wrestles with heartbreak after an unexpected breakup. Their honest struggles and unique ways of coping add depth and liveliness to the family narrative.
“Our Golden Days” will premiere on August 9 at 8 p.m. KST, following the conclusion of “For Eagle Brothers.”
